Awards

Award Winning Photographer - Maria is a multi award winner within the New Zealand and Australian Professional Photographic communities.

In 2008 she won the NZ Editorial & Illustrative Category and was runner up for the NZ Professional Photographer of the Year. “The winner  of New Zealand Professional Photographer of the Year was selected by a jury from three photographers portfolios with the highest aggregate scores from across any category with a set of six prints.”


In the 2003 competition she won an unprecedented four of the thirteen Professional Photography Categories.

NZ Food & Drink Photograph of the Year, NZ Still Life Photograph of the Year, NZ Series Photograph of the Year and NZ Landscape Photograph of the Year.


In addition she has won another five category awards, 2005 NZ Architectural/Industrial/ Corporate Category Winner, 1999 NZ Advertising Category Winner, 1998 NZ Unclassified Category Winner, 1997 NZ Advertising Category Winner, 1994 NZ Advertising Category Winner.
